We are looking for a highly motivated, bright, self-starter excited to join our Retail Sales team as one of the faces of our brand in our flagship location on the Upper East Side. You must have a strong work ethic and be willing to speak fluently about our brand. You must also be comfortable closing a sale on a high value product as you will immediately be responsible for providing exceptional on-brand customer service to our clients.

What you’ll be doing:
- Greet and graciously serve our clients as an ambassador for our brand. Tell our brand story and be ready to offer product descriptions and suggestions.
- Handle the day-to-day store operations including open/close duties, visual merchandising with Creative Director, product and supply inventory, and maintaining a safe and cleanly environment for our clients
- Other projects as needed.
What you need:
- Relevant experience including luxury retail sales and/or a love of luxury products.
- Self-starter – ability to work independently and continually prioritize activities
- Organized, detail oriented, and comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets, computers and POS systems
- Outgoing, resourceful, positive, dynamic personality, can-do attitude
- A love of people, company dog, paper and luxury goods
- Bachelor degree
- US Citizen or Green Card required
Compensation:
Part-time. $22 per hour. This position can be combined with our Marketing & Administrative Assistant to create a full-time position.

Marketing & Administrative Assistant

Candidates must be willing to work on Saturdays.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinate marketing efforts including editor gifts, client retention, and other ongoing campaigns including blog posts and brand friend relations
- Support retail operations. Help fulfill online orders.
- Greet and serve clients in the shop
- Support the Dempsey & Carroll team as needed
- Support office management tasks – including replenishing supplies, managing IT and maintenance contractors as well as tenant requests
What you need:
- Zero to 2 years of work experience
- Excellent organizational skills, Detail oriented.
- Can-do attitude, outgoing, patient, persistent, professional, and efficient
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Self-starter – ability to work independently and continually prioritize activities
- A love of people, company dog, paper and luxury goods
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- US Citizen or Green Card required
Hours/Compensation:
- This position is PART-TIME. It can be combined with our Retail Sales/Brand Ambassador position to create a full-time position.
- $22 per hour
